How to Enable / Disable or Remove WhatsApp Blue Tick marks (Read Receipts) for Read Messages

WhatsApp recently introduced new update for android and iPhones to show two blue check marks (tick marks) next to the messages if the recipient has read your message. This feature is added with no privacy setting to disable read receipts. 

How to Enable / Disable or Remove WhatsApp Blue Tick marks (Read Receipts) for Read Messages

Now In the latest version of WhatsApp (version 2.11.452) giving feature to enable or disable Blue Tick marks (Read Receipts). This Latest WhatsApp version 2.11.452 available to download in WhatsApp Official website.



Following are the simple Steps to enable or disable Blue Tick marks  (Read Receipts) in WhatsApp.

Step1: Go to the WhatsApp Official website (www.whatsapp.com/Android/) and download the Official WhatsApp APK file.

Step2: After download the apk enable installation of apps in settings. To enable,
            Go to settings menu and enable 'Allow installation of apps from Unknown Sources' in the Security tab under Unknown Sources.

Step3: Install downloaded APK file.

Step4: Now your WhatsApp Updated to the latest version.

Step5: To enable or disable Blue Tick marks (Read Receipts) ,
           
            1. Go to WhatsApp settings menu
            2. Click Account tab. 
            3. Go to the Privacy tab
            4. Under the Privacy tab,uncheck the Read Receipts option to disable Blue Tick mark.
            5. If you want to enable Blue Tick mark then check the Read Receipts option back.





 


 



Note that, once you disable this feature, you cannot be able to view blue check marks when you send a message as well.

This new version of WhatsApp allows you to disable the blue ticks. Currently this feature isn't available if you install WhatsApp from Google Play store. This version now available only on the official WhatsApp apk from WhatsApp Website. Hope soon will get update from Google Play Store also.

        Now new version of WhatsApp available in Google Playstore for all users. Install new version or Update your WhatsApp and Enable / Disable WhatsApp Blue Tick marks in Read Receipts for Read Messages
