Windows 10 – How to turn off web search in the start menu

When using Windows 10 search by default the results will include web search results using Bing along side the matching results for files, folders and programs on the computer. Most of the time we may not want to get the result from web. Follow below simple steps to disable the web search results in windows 10 start menu 1. Click in the search box 2. In the left hand side click on the settings icon 3. Change ‘Search online and include web results’ to ‘off’ 3. Search results will now online include only local results inside out computer and web results will be disabled.

Windows 7 – How to display file extensions

File extensions are usually preceded by a full stop and indicating the format of the file. By default file extensions will be hidden in windows file explorer. Follow the below steps to display the file extension in windows 7 Open Windows Explorer (or Use short cut Windows key + E ) Click the Alt button on the keyboard to display the file menu Then select Tools and Folder options Open the View tab then de-select ‘ Hide extensions for known file types’ Click ‘OK’ to save the changes File extensions will now be visible in Windows Explorer.

Mozilla always releases updates to add new features / solve security issues that exist in older versions of Firefox. In Firefox by default it may update automatically and install a newer version. Print a Screen with Mouse Cursor - How to Print Screen with Mouse Pointer

We are always using the print screen button in keyboard to print the screen i.e. window. Sometimes we may want to print the screen with mouse cursor also. That time it is not possible in  Windows 7  to print screen with mouse pointer [cursor]. I am not sure about windows vista or windows XP or other earlier version of windows. There are two solutions available to print the screen with mouse pointer. Option 1: The first option is simple to use. Use normal print screen option to print the screen and add the mouse cursors using image editing tools like paint Photoshop etc. If you want the Mouse cursor images just take it from the internet sources. If you type Mouse cursor in Google Images you can get all the icons immediately. Save the Mouse cursor icons in your computer.
